Hernandez Photo Leads to Disturbing 'Hernandezing' on Social Media

After a photo surfaced of a 19-year-old Aaron Hernandez taking a photo of himself with a glock gun, social media users disturbingly posted photos of themselves imitating Hernandez’s “selfie” photo or imitating Hernandez’s “no arms” look while he was getting arrested with the #hernandezing hashtag. Many found the meme to be disturbing.  

Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday and pled not guilty. After he was denied bail for a second time on Thursday, Hernandez will be in jail until his trial starts. He is also a possible suspect in an unsolved 2012 double murder.

TMZ obtained the photo of him with the glock while he was a student at Florida and published it on Wednesday evening.
