While it is almost certain that Colin Kaepernick made the right career choice, he did create a small amount of doubt in the minds of Giants fans when he threw out the opening pitch on Friday night.
Although, according the him, he had not picked up a baseball in seven years, the elite signal caller was able to sling the ball over the plate at 87 mph.
A highly touted high school pitcher who was throwing more than 90 mph as a prep prospect, Kaepernick tweeted “87 on the first pitch…. Not too bad next year I’m goin to spring training to get ready! #sfgiants.”
