On May 5th, Gordon Gee was standing with President Barack Obama before a commencement speech that saw him challenge the university’s students to take the lead on a host of liberal causes.

Now, the Ohio State president finds himself in hot water.

Following the revelation of Gee’s comments against Catholics, the SEC, Bret Bielema, and others, it is being reported that the trustees of the university have told him that he has “embarrassed and divided the university.”

Furthermore, the letter sent to the president states: “Although none of us expects this to be the case, should futureinstances take place, they could constitute cause for even more punitiveaction, including dismissal, and the board will have no choice but totake such action.”

Trustees with the university have also made it clear that they intend to hire a coach to help Gee steer clear of making such statements in the future.
