While Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III continues to surprise many with his recovery, many more intently watching his relationship with head coach Mike Shanahan. The elusive quarterback was equally shifty on Thursday when asked directly how he felt about how coaches used him last season.
The former Heisman winner and his father have issued numerous statements indicating frustration with how he was utilized and the lack of protection that was given to his injured knee.
Other than saying that he and Shanahan have “hashed everything out,” RG3 has been vague regarding who he feels is responsible for the damage done to his knee. While the press and public hang on the young star’s every word, the answers will come at the start of the season and observing whether the Redskins have altered the offense and if RG3 can be as effective as primarily a passing quarterback.
