Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen led the Celtics back to glory, winning the 2008 NBA Finals and being a fixture in the postseason since coming together.
Now, Ray Allen is with the Heat and it looks like Pierce and Garnett may be heading out the door as well.
Sources from the Pierce camp are now saying that the Celtics star is not expecting to be with the team next season. Moreover, if he departs, fellow superstar Kevin Garnett may waive his no-trade clause or could simply retire.
Celtics sideline reporter Greg Dickerson believes that Pierce, at a minimum will not be wearing green next season which means that the already depleted Boston team should be in full rebuilding mode sooner rather than later.
