After losing former #1 pick Jake Long in free agency, the Miami Dolphins are reportedly looking to find a replacement in next week’s NFL Draft.

Unfortunately for the Fins, their ability to find a tackle will be limited at their current #12 spot; they will need to move up. Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher (pictured), and Lane Johnson are considered the draft’s three premier tackles, and they could all be gone after the Lions pick at #5, are unlikely to survive past the Cardinals at #7, and will certainly be off the board after the Chargers at #11.

However, Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland is sending signals that he is not only willing to move up, but he has gone on record saying he could trade up as high as #1 overall. The period before the draft is infamous for the utilization of deception tactics, however, there is a lot of smoke and mirrors with regards to Miami’s intentions.
