Victor Oladipo, the star guard for Indiana who spent much of this past season ranked #1, is headed to the NBA, foregoing his senior season with the Hoosiers.
The first team All-American was one of the nation’s most electric players, averaging 13.6 points per game and 6.3 rebounds as the Hoosiers were one of the best teams in the NCAA this season. Despite high expectations and a lofty #1 seeding, Indiana ultimately fell in the Sweet 16 to Syracuse.
Oladipo’s teammate, Hoosiers’ leading scorer Cody Zeller, is expected to reach a decision soon as well. Both players are expected to be lottery selections in June’s NBA Draft.
