Recently named the “Greatest Athlete” in all of sports by ESPN, Bo Jackson is looking to give back. For the second consecutive year, the former Auburn University star will conduct a bike ride to raise money for the victims of the tornadoes that ravaged the Tuscaloosa area.
Funds raised will be donated to the Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund which was established by current Alabama Governor Robert Bentley to relieve the suffering families.
Fans from across the state will have the opportunity to ride with the legendary two-sport star along the one day, 60 mile ride for $60 in advance, or for $40 in advance for a 20 mile ride.
Interested fans and riders can register online at BoBikesBama.com. Last year’s event raised over $600,000 for the relief effort.
