A.J. McCarron, Katherine Webb 'the Romeo and Juliet of Alabama'

Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend, former Miss Alabama and model Katherine Webb, went to Auburn University, which is Alabama’s fiercest rival.

In Alabama, the union between a man from Alabama and a woman from Auburn is usually referred to as a mixed-marriage. 

Webb, though, says the couple have been referred to as “the Romeo and Juliet of Alabama.” 

There may be one problem with that comparison–Romeo and Juliet’s relationship did not end too well.
