Jarvis Jones, the elite Georgia linebacker, will not participate in drills at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. The top prospect will wait until Georgia’s Pro Day on March 21 to work out for teams.
An elite pass rusher, Jones suffers from spinal stenosis, an injury obtained while playing for USC. That injury prevented doctors for the Trojans from clearing the linebacker who transferred to Georgia where he could play.
Although he has reportedly been given a clean bill of health, NFL teams will no doubt be disappointed to learn that Jones will not be working out at the Combine.
Jones was pegged as going #6 overall to the Cleveland Browns in the Breitbart Sports NFL Mock Draft.
