Chipper Jones has not been away from Turner Field long, but his jersey is set to join the all-time greats there in permanent position on July 28.
The Atlanta Braves will honor Jones by retiring his iconic number 10 this summer.
The elite third baseman will go down as one of the best to ever play the position; however, he was much more than that to the Braves organization. He was the face of their franchise for more than a decade and a half.
Jones was an eight-time all-star, NL MVP (1999), and NL Batting Champion (2008). He finished his career with a .303 batting average, 468 Home Runs, and 1,623 RBIs.
