House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) appeared on Breitbart News Saturday recently alongside host Matt Boyle to discuss the Masters of the Universe in Silicon Valley.
Breitbart News Washington Political Editor and host of Breitbart News Saturday Matt Boyle discussed a number of topics with House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy on the latest episode of the show. One of the key topics discussed was the Master of the Universe and Silicon Valley.
Host Matt Boyle began discussing the topic saying, “You wrote an op-ed for us at Breitbart about this — we call them the Master of the Universe — in Silicon Valley these major companies, Google, Facebook are two of the biggest ones, Twitter is all up in that too, are doing all they can to censor conservatives or smear conservatives in some cases. Can you tell us your thoughts on what we’re seeing out of Silicon Valley on these fronts?”

McCarthy replied: “I’ll tell you what, I have really gotten upset by all this, I have started to say ‘stop the bias,’ and what’s interesting is I was just asked a question on one Sunday show and it wasn’t the issue and it was like the last question and it was just the thing that has happened to me and my friends. That I have watched, remember these are algorithms but the algorithms are written by somebody and remember up in the Valley, there are Republicans up in the Valley that are working for these companies that have to move away just because of the way they are being treated, just because of their own philosophical beliefs.”
“If you were to google the California Republican party a week before our primary, it would have said our ideology was Nazism,” stated McCarthy. “No it wasn’t the party of Lincoln, it wasn’t the home state of Reagan that elected him governor, it said Nazism. I put that out to them and then I happen to be good friends with Don Jr. Trump, he had on his Instagram, if you were to search his name it would give you a warning that his site could cause harm or maybe even death. This is an Instagram where he puts his children’s pictures.”
“One of the biggest things, Amazon, here’s Amazon that has 49 percent of all the sales online, it controls so much. On there, if you go through they have a program, they let you select a non-profit they’ll put money to. Well, one of the non-profits they just kicked out because they said it was a hate group — they let Southern Poverty [Law Center] say it. Do you know what that group does? That group defends civil liberties, our conscience vote before the Supreme Court, remember the Philips case that just came from Colorado that won 7-2? That was the group helping fund our group, and the idea that that is some type of hate group is outrageous.”
Breitbart News Saturday airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern.
