Dan Gainor: Media Attempting to ‘Demonize All Conservative Media’

Vice President of Business and Culture at the Media Research Center, Dan Gainor, spoke with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam on Monday regarding recent reports of media reaction to an employee of the Heritage Foundation’s Daily Signal being part of the White House press corps.

Gainor said, “This has a larger strategy. We saw it a couple times this week. It is the attempt to demonize all conservative media. The Washington Post is big-time into this.”

Continued Gainor, “The idea that Fred Lucas, who is a friend of mine, used to work here and now works at The Daily Signal, which is put out by Heritage, that somehow he is tainting the press pool … and then, they go into the big elaborate games that they’re playing about that.”

Gainor then cites a Wiki for the White House press corps, pointing out that left-leaning outlets like “MSNBC, Huffington Post, Mother Jones,” and others are all part of the press corps, yet the media seem to have no problem with their ideological slant–while attacking conservative outlets for being part of the same group.
