Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Matt Boyle Thursday, on the heels of the election of Donald Trump, “I am looking forward to draining the swamp.” He added, “Perhaps since Teddy Roosevelt … nobody’s ridden into town with that kind of a mandate to say business as usual is not going to continue.”
To do that, said Issa, “You need a president who will appoint key cabinet and sub-cabinet positions that have the same mandate to fix government.” Additionally, he said, “You need to allow Congress to have relatively full and complete access to information.”
“It’s got to be, essentially, an open book,” concluded Issa.
