Monday’s Breitbart News Daily included an interview with Leslie Millwee, the latest woman to accuse Bill Clinton of sexual assault. She says Clinton groped her several times in the tiny editing room of the TV station where she worked as a reporter.
“What happened did change the trajectory of my life,” Millwee told SiriusXM host Alex Marlow. “I left a really great job I got at the age of 19, and was forced to leave because of what happened. I chose to leave, to get away from Clinton.”
“I’ve had a very successful career in pharmaceuticals,” she added. “I now work, for about the last five years, for a nonprofit for breast cancer awareness. So I’ve done quite well. I did not stay as a reporter, like I said, mostly because of the way things kind of played out, and I had to get away from Bill Clinton. But I’m doing great. I didn’t let that define who I am or what I am. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 35 years. For me, I’m very fortunate I was able to overcome that.”
She explained that she did not want to talk about Clinton at the time because the incident was “very traumatic.”
“I only shared it with my closest family members what was happening, my grandmother. She was very old-school in the fact that she thought, you know, you’re not gonna go up against the governor of the state of Arkansas. You are not going to win if you do come forward and you tell people what he did. Chances are they’re going to believe you, but where does that still leave you? He’s still the governor of Arkansas. Do you want to go through that and be embroiled in that?” Millwee recalled.
“Looking back, I’ve never regretted not coming forward because I would have been raked through the mud,” she said. “It was a little different situation than Monica Lewinsky, but you know her life has never been the same, nor will it be, and the same with the other women.”
“So I almost came forward in the nineties, when the Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick, everyone came out, Paula Jones. And I watched the way the Clintons and the Clinton machine just absolutely eviscerated every single person involved that came forward,” she revealed. “And I said, you know, I’ve got two little kids. They were not even in elementary school yet. I have a great job in pharmaceuticals, a very conservative industry. I’m not going to let this man do this to me twice. I am not going to let him cost me my job or my privacy. So I didn’t come forward.”
“I always talk to my husband about this. He said, ‘You know, you’re a strong woman. If you decide at some point in your life you want to come forward with this, and tell your story, then you’ll know it’s the right time.’ And with all this stuff happening – the emails, Benghazi, everything with the Clintons – if people don’t think that Hillary is not embroiled so much in who Bill Clinton is as well, I just have to believe two birds of a feather flock together. You don’t have the lack of moral integrity like Bill Clinton has, and you don’t stay married to someone like that. So I think they’re two peas in a pod. They share the same, or lack of, moral values, and I think people need to understand that. That’s who they are,” Millwee said.
She said Hillary Clinton was an “enabler” of her husband’s behavior.
“We know that she not only took up for Bill when he – I mean, he raped Juanita Broaddrick. And all the other things he’s done, what he did to me, what he did to the other women, that’s horrible too. But then, to take it a step further, this woman goes ahead and tries to go after these women, and threatens these women, and tries to tarnish their reputations forever,” she charged.
“I’ve spoke with some of the other women. I’ve been considering telling this story for about close to year, and I talked to Aaron for several months before things came to fruition. He and I talked about how very much Hillary belittled and just tore these women’s lives apart as much as she could. He just wanted me to be prepared for that,” she said, referring to Breitbart News reporter Aaron Klein, who conducted the interview in which her allegations were made public.
“This is the kind of people we’re dealing with. And they have the media in their pocket. So you are gonna get it from all ends, and I accept that. I understand that,” she said. “But this is a story that needed to be told. People need to understand this goes back to when he was a teenager in college, raping someone in England, all the way. I think his behavior is still the same. I think people need to understand they’re together in this.”
Millwee did not think much of the Democrats’ strategy to paint Republican candidate Donald Trump as an abuser of women, while downplaying Bill Clinton’s offenses and Hillary’s role in covering them up.
“It is something that has never surfaced before, and then all of a sudden, you have women come out of the woodwork. I just find that ludicrous,” she said. “Now, if Donald Trump did something like that, should there be accountability? Absolutely. But everything that I’ve personally seen has been debunked, and I believe that. The way I look at it, I know what Bill Clinton did to me. I know there’s a pattern. We all have proof. I’ve spoken to many, many women that have suffered at the hands of Bill Clinton.”
“I’ve not talked to anyone, or seen anyone, that had an issue with Trump. If you talk to anybody that’s been around Trump, they only have kind things to say about him and the way that he has treated people not just women, but people in general. I think that speaks volumes. Let’s see how things wash out. I know he will have to answer for some of these accusations. And I think that he will probably be yet another victim of the Clinton machine, going after people to make themselves look less terrible, and I think that’s gonna come out,” Millwee said.
She scoffed at the notion that Hillary Clinton was in a position to accuse anyone else of waging a “War on Women.”
“That is so incredibly ridiculous to me. This woman takes money from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, all these places that literally women are not even of slave status. They are so belittled. And she takes money,” Millwee said. “I loved what Trump said at the debate: Give back your money. Give back all this money that these people, if you’re such a, carry the banner for women’s rights. I thought that was a brilliant statement. And it’s so true. She hasn’t done anything for women’s rights. If you want to look at it the other way, from my perspective, she tears women down to go after women that her husband has assaulted.”
“If there are people that are still on the fence and don’t know how they want to vote – I know, I talk to people every day; I’m in Texas, and I hear the No-Trumpers, and then I hear people that are gonna vote for Hillary because she’s a woman. And I just say, look at somebody by their character. What have they accomplished in life? Correct me if I’m wrong, but Hillary Clinton has never created one job. If we’re even talking from an economic situation, Donald Trump has created so many jobs. He’s done so much for America. He wants to bring these jobs back. Why would you not want to see the country in a better place? Think of that. Think of Benghazi,” Millwee advised.
