In the wake of the latest violence directed at police officers, this time in Baton Rouge, Colorado Republican U.S. Senate candidate Darryl Glenn told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon that President Barack Obama is “driving a wedge between law enforcement and the community it’s trying to protect.”
In answer to Obama’s charges that divisive rhetoric is coming basically from Republicans, Glenn said the divisive rhetoric is coming from Obama, not Republicans.
Monday is Keep America Safe Day at the Republican National Convention, and Glenn added, “The threat from radical Islam is real. We have an administration that hasn’t even identified the enemy.”
Speaking of the Iran nuclear deal, said Glenn:
I’m holding both Republicans and Democrats accountable for this. I don’t care. I am not a Republican apologist. They are all part of the problem. In my opinion, you basically need to open up the barn door and hose everything out and start all over. But this is an opportunity for America to take their country back. That’s what I’m about.
Glenn’s campaign website states:
These are uncertain times. We need leaders who understand that what matters is the content of your character–not the color of your political party. Leaders who are committed to working for real solutions. We must take the fight to radical Islamic terrorists, balance the budget and protect working families.
Glenn also supports Donald Trump, as Breitbart News has reported: “Colorado Republican Senate nominee Darryl Glenn came out forcefully for Donald Trump at this weekend’s Western Conservative Summit.”
