As Illinois Democrat primary voters head to the polls, state officials confirmed two months ago that hundreds of noncitizens were on the voter rolls in 2018 and many voted.
In January, Illinois election officials admitted that about 574 noncitizens were improperly registered to vote in the 2018 election and out of those noncitizens, 19 fraudulently voted. These noncitizens were kept on the voter rolls for more than 500 days.
After learning of the “programming error,” Democrat Secretary of State Jesse White’s office did not inform officials with the Board of Elections until December 18, 2019 — indicating that non-citizens were kept on voter rolls for more than 500 days or over 17 months.
The error was a direct result of Democrat and Republican state lawmakers’ implementation of an automatic voter registration system. States like New York and California have similar programs.
California’s automatic voter registration fraudulently registered about 1,500 ineligible voters, including noncitizens, over six months.
Though state lawmakers demanded answers to the issue, Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker refused to temporarily halt the automatic voter registration program, as Breitbart News reported.
Illinois is a sanctuary state that shields criminal illegal aliens from arrest and deportation. The state allows illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses, which are used by citizens to register to vote.
