President Donald Trump hit New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Twitter Tuesday for criticizing his handling of the coronavirus crisis.

“Andrew, keep politics out of it…” Trump wrote on Twitter.

The New York Governor continues to criticize Trump publicly for failing to level nationwide orders restricting American behavior and close bars and restaurants.

Trump reminded Cuomo all states had different levels of the coronavirus.

“Some are being hit hard by the Chinese Virus, some are being hit practically not at all,” Trump wrote. “New York is a very big ‘hotspot,’ West Virginia has, thus far, zero cases,” he said.

Speaking on his brother Chris Cuomo’s show on CNN, the New York governor presented himself as a truth-teller to the president, leading the nation in the fight against the epidemic.

“You have to know how to mobilize the federal government,” Cuomo said. “You have to know how to manage the government.”

Cuomo also faulted the president for failing to order the Army Corps of Engineers to construct temporary hospitals.

During his press conference on Monday, Trump said Cuomo should be doing more to fight the virus.

“I think he can do more,” he said, repeating a message he wrote on Twitter hours earlier. “And, you know, it’s an area of the country that’s very hot right now.”
