President Donald Trump endorsed 20 House candidates in the Republican Congressional primaries on Tuesday, and those 20 candidates were victorious.
The president boasted about his success on Twitter, noting the “fake news” media did not cover it.
“Kevin McCarthy informed me that I was 20 for 20 on Tuesday with respect to my Endorsement of candidates,” he wrote. “Sadly, I didn’t get that information from the Fake News Media.”
“The numbers don’t lie, when President Trump weighs in he gets results,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News.
“His shrewd political instincts and unmatched ability to ignite Republican turnout lead me to believe we are on the cusp of delivering another GOP revolution.”
Here are the 20 candidates that Trump endorsed, many of them Republican incumbents.
- Mo Brooks — AL 05
- Tom McClintock — CA 04
- Jay Obernolte — CA 08
- Devin Nunes — CA 22
- Kevin McCarthy — CA 23
- Patrick McHenry — NC 10
- Louie Gohmert — TX 01
- Lance Gooden — TX 05
- Wesley Hunt — TX-07
- Kevin Brady — TX 08
- August Pfluger — TX 11
- Kay Granger — TX 12
- Ronny Jackson — TX 13
- Randy Weber — TX 14

- Beth Van Duyne — TX 24
- Roger Williams — TX 25
- Michael Burgess — TX 26
- John Carter — TX 31

Each of them were victorious in their races on Friday. His former physician Ronny Jackson came in second in his race in Texas but won a spot in the runoff election in May as no candidate hit a 50 percent threshold.
“Thanks to President Trump, House Republicans are united, revitalized and prepared to win nationwide,” McCarthy said. “I look forward to winning back the House this November.”
