A woman who shot an alleged robber in Houston, TX, on Tuesday said, “I shot until I couldn’t shoot anymore.”

ABC13 reports that the woman had just pulled up to her home “when two men [allegedly] reached through her driver’s side window and grabbed her purse.” Other reports claim that there were more than two suspects.

The woman said she started screaming, and the men told her to stop.

The Houston Police Department’s J.A. Miller told the Houston Chronicle that “the woman and the man struggled for the purse, but she was able to retrieve her handgun from her bag and fire two shots into the suspect.”

The woman said, “It was all I had in my gun. I shot until I couldn’t shoot anymore.”

Police found the alleged purse snatcher “just 100 yards away.” He was transported to a hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound.
