A suspect allegedly swung a wooden club at a Tulsa, Oklahoma, Quik Trip security guard and got shot.
Fox23 News reports that police responded to disturbance reports at the Quik Trip store around 1 a.m. Sunday. The store’s security guard told them he witnessed a fight inside the store that spilled out into the parking lot.
Tulsa World reports that police found James Middlestadt with a gunshot wound to the groin. A security guard told police that Middlestadt allegedly swung what appeared to be a club at him in the parking lot, but the weapon was “later identified as a didgeridoo.”
A witness claimed Middlestadt allegedly had another weapon as well, but handed it off to someone before police arrived.
