Former Vice President Joe Biden told a protester in Iowa to be quiet after he interrupted a campaign event on Tuesday.

The protester stood up and protested Biden on his views on abortion as his supporters started booing and yelling at the man to sit down.

“No, no, that’s ok, this is not a Trump rally, let him go,” Biden said, prompting applause and cheers from the handful of supporters in the room.

As the protester continued, Biden told him to be quiet.

“Shh,” he said to the man. “If you hush up, I’ll answer your question.”

Biden urged a staffer to bring the man to the side of the event and promised to “sit down” with the man after his speech was finished.

It was not clear whether Biden did so as he left the stage.
