A Trump supporter was kicked out of Disneyland in California Wednesday after he hung a “Trump 2020” banner off the balcony of a riverboat within the park.
The guest, Dion Cini, posted a live stream of the incident, which showed Cini and his friend Byron McComb unraveling the banner while on the Mark Twain Steamboat within the park.
The banner, which read “Re-Elect Donald Trump 2020: Keep America Great,” was unraveled over the balcony at the rear of the left side of the steamboat.
People on the ground watching the two unfurl the banner as the steamboat passed by yelled, “Fuck Trump,” according to the video.
Cini, who is from New York City’s Upper West Side, told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Thursday that when the steamboat docked ashore, two officers with the Anaheim Police Department and Disneyland security personnel were waiting for him.
Cini was not arrested but was asked to leave the property.
The officers “escorted me backstage” before giving Cini a “verbal warning in front of a peace officer,” he said, adding that he was escorted from the park not too long after being given the warning for “interrupting the show.”
A Disney Parks spokeswoman told the Orange County Register that the park does not allow signs or banners because they pose a safety hazard to other guests enjoying the park.
“We welcome all guests to enjoy our parks; however, demonstrations and the display of signs and banners are not permitted,” Parks spokeswoman Liz Jaeger said. “This person has been previously warned, and we have taken appropriate steps to address his behavior.”
Cini has run into trouble at Disney theme parks before for displaying his Trump banners on Disney property.
In November, he was kicked out of Disney World in Florida and later banned from the Florida theme park for holding up a “Trump 2020” sign on the Splash Mountain ride.
Cini said that despite being kicked out of the park, he still plans to unfurl his “Trump 2020” banners, even on Disney property where it is legal.
The Trump supporter told Breitbart News that he sees Disney as “an extension of the liberal media,” and displays his banner on Disney property to protest the celebrities employed by the company who espouse anti-Trump views.
“When the ladies of The View, who are Disney employees, stop bashing Trump, I’ll stop unfurling on Disney property,” he said.
Cini said he also plans to display a much larger banner in other places where he travels once Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign goes into full swing.
“I’m waiting until Trump makes his ‘Keep America Great’ announcement for 2020” to unfurl a “bigger banner” and do it “in legal places” people are unlikely to “expect it,” Cini told Breitbart News.
