In her newly released book, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) praises Larry Wallace, her longtime aide who resigned last month amid a workplace sexual harassment lawsuit.

Featured in a passage, Harris commends Wallace for his “leadership” on a team she crafted to develop an “implicit bias and procedural justice training program.”

The U.S. senator’s biography, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, also features an image of Harris and Wallace posed alongside one another in a group photo taken in Mexico City.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, a spokesperson for Harris has not responded to an inquiry as to whether an attempt was made to have the parts featuring Wallace removed from the book after his resignation.

After the Sacramento Bee “inquired about a $400,000 harassment and retaliation settlement resulting from his time working for Harris at the California Department of Justice,” Wallace quickly resigned from his post early last month.

Just days after the allegations were raised, Harris denied having any prior knowledge of it.

Wallace reportedly “served as the director of the Division of Law Enforcement” at the California Department of Justice while Harris was the Golden State’s attorney general in 2016.
