President Donald Trump surprised voters in Mississippi on Monday with a Christmas-themed rally in Biloxi.

The president arrived on stage through a door decorated with Christmas greens and four red stockings. Fake snow fell from the ceiling of the arena.

Several Trump supporters waved Merry Christmas signs and cheered wildly.

“Look, Snow!” Trump said. “I didn’t know what was going on … that beautiful snow looks so real.”

He joked he was concerned about his suit and his hair when he first spotted the artificial flakes falling from the ceiling.

The stage was lined with Christmas trees, wreaths, and poinsettias, and even featured an inflatable Christmas-themed helicopter.

Trump encouraged Mississippi supporters to get out and vote in the runoff election for Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith on Tuesday.

He said the election was vital to continuing the Republican majority in the Senate.

“If we win tomorrow, we go 53-47, and nobody can believe it,” Trump said. “The fake news is not happy about those numbers.”
