President Donald Trump criticized the “fake news” media on Thursday, for obsessing with possible staff changes in the West Wing and the Russia investigation.

“[A]nytime I even think about making changes, the FAKE NEWS MEDIA goes crazy, always seeking to make us look as bad as possible!” he wrote on Twitter. “Very dishonest!”

CNN focused intently on Trump’s “foul” mood in their cable news coverage and in a story featuring ten bylined reporters citing anonymous sources.
Trump insisted his presidency was running smoothly, despite the rumors that he might get rid of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.

The president also criticized the ongoing Russia investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller as a “total mess” and a “disgrace to our nation.”

“They have found no collusion and have gone absolutely nuts,” he wrote. “They are screaming and shouting at people, horribly threatening them to come up with the answers they want.”

Trump again called the investigation “highly conflicted.”

“A TOTAL WITCH HUNT LIKE NO OTHER IN AMERICAN HISTORY!” he wrote.
