Anti-Trump leftist activists were already celebrating as polls closed in Virginia on Tuesday, tweeting that failed vice presidential candidate and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) had defeated Republican Corey Stewart, marking the “first white supremacist defeat of the night.”

“First white supremacist defeat of the night,” leftist activist Jess Mcintosh tweeted on Tuesday night.

Mcintosh’s organization, Shareblue Media, posted an article online entitled, “Sen. Tim Kaine easily beats neo-Confederate Trump endorsed in Virginia.”

The website reported:

Democrat Tim Kaine sent Trump-endorsed racist Corey Stewart packing early on election night.

Virginia voters rejected Trump’s racism handily on Tuesday night by re-electing Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine, and sending unapologetically racist, Confederate flag-loving Republican Senate nominee Corey Stewart down to resounding defeat.

The radical leftist organization Ultraviolent Action, which was a major player in the anti-Brett Kavanaugh protests ahead of his confirmation as a Justice on the United States Supreme Court, retweeted Mcintosh’s tweet.

Stewart is, in fact, an accomplished international trade lawyer and the at-large chairman of the Board of County Supervisors in Prince William County, Virginia.

He is proud of his record of protecting Americans and his campaign literature detailed how his county has worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to get more than 8,000 criminal illegal aliens off the streets.

Stewart was raised in a family of Democrats and was the first in his family to graduate from college, according to his biography.

He met his wife of 24 years, Maria, who is Swedish, while he was teaching English in Japan for a year before entering law school. The couple has two sons.

According to the New York Times, the race was called when Kaine had garnered 52.5 percent of the vote to Stewart’s 45.7 percent. The final tally was 57.0 percent for Kaine, 41.2 percent for Stewart.
