A pair of new television ads will hit airwaves in West Virginia’s third congressional district exposing Democrat candidate and radical leftist Richard Ojeda for his hatred of President Donald Trump and his opposition to the Trump agenda, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
Ojeda, who is running against Trump-backed GOP candidate Carol Miller, will be on the receiving end of a double barrel TV slam from the official Trump super PAC America First Action. The ads, which will air from Tuesday morning through Oct. 29, are backed by a $618,000 buy, Breitbart News has learned, and both shred Ojeda for being anti-Trump.
The first zones in on Ojeda’s nasty rhetoric about President Trump’s administration, noting that Ojeda falsely accused the Trump administration of being a “circus” in a quote to the establishment media. Ojeda claims to have voted for Trump, but no longer supports the president because of his “circus” Twitter account, according to CNN, and as such he is now running as a Democrat against Trump’s preferred candidate Miller in the all-important third congressional district in West Virginia.

The second ad hits even harder, claiming that Ojeda is “hiding” a “record that Washington liberals would love,” hitting him for supporting a variety of tax increases like a gas tax hike, a food tax imposition, supporting hiking Social Security taxes, and for taking money from special interests opposed to the Trump agenda.

The pair of spots should be enough to hold down any late Democrat surge in the district, which Democrats have had their eyes on since former Rep. Evan Jenkins (R-WV) left the seat for a spot on West Virginia’s Supreme Court of Appeals after losing the GOP primary for U.S. Senate to Attorney General Patrick Morrisey. Morrisey will face incumbent Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) in November, and while the Senate race is the landmark race in West Virginia, this House race is also critically important to the president.
Trump even praised Miller at a campaign rally for Morrisey in West Virginia, and Trump released a video on his Facebook page backing her campaign for Congress:
Miller has been supportive of building President Trump’s border wall in campaign ads:
She also has auppoerws English as the official language of the United States and supports President Trump’s position on trade and war, backing building in West Virginia over building in Afghanistan:
