President Donald J. Trump questioned the actions of former President Barack Obama, as the intelligence agencies under his administration were investigating Trump’s presidential campaign.
“A good question!” Trump wrote on Twitter on Monday, highlighting a column in the Wall Street Journal with the headline “Where in the World Was Barack Obama?”
“What does the man who was serving at the time as the FBI’s ultimate boss have to say about all this?” wrote James Freeman, describing Obama as “largely—and strangely—absent” as the investigations continued.
Freeman highlighted a column from his WSJ colleague Kimberly Strassel who also questioned Obama’s leadership of his administration.
“Perhaps it’s a good moment to get the whole story from our 44th President,” Freeman wrote.
