A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows that the Democratic Congressional Generic Ballot advantage has dropped to just four points — not even enough to overcome the inherent five point gerrymandering advantage Republicans have in the upcoming midterm elections.
Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily host Matt Boyle, Washington political editor for Breitbart News, on Monday that the problem Democrats have with voters is that they have nothing to offer accept their hatred for President Trump and their desire to impeach him at all costs.

“Let me tell you where the Democrats are,” Lewandowski told Boyle.
“I firmly believe right now not only do they not have a vision for the country, but they hate this president more than they actually love our country. What that means is they will do anything to stop him,” he noted.
“That’s a very, very dangerous position,” Lewandowski continued.
Lewandowski agreed with Boyle, who said, “A vote for a Democrat [in the midterm elections] is really a vote to impeach Donald Trump.”
“It is, and you have to remember this: Conor Lamb won [the recent special Congressional election in Pennsylvania] because he said he wasn’t going to support Nancy Pelosi,” the former Trump campaign manager said, adding:
They say one thing back in their district, then they come to Washington, D.C. and they govern exactly the opposite of what they said they were going to do.
Now, Conor Lamb ran as a person who didn’t want to support Nancy Pelosi. He ran as a person who was pro-military, a person who was pro-manufacturing.
If Democrats are going to be successful, they have to get away from the bipolar Democratic Party, which is one on the East Coast, one on the West Coast. They’re not bicoastal any more, they’re bipolar, that’s who they are. They’re lead by Elizabeth Warren, Camila Harris, and the far lefties who want to see them take over the country, with no vision.
Guys like Adam Schiff. What have these guys ever done to help the country move forward?
Nothing.
No vision. No agenda. It’s all rhetoric.
They come to Washington. They’re obstructionist.
The Democrats need to recruit candidates, if they want to be successful, that are in the same vein as Conor Lamb.
“But kid you not. If the Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives, and we have a Speaker Pelosi, and a Chairman Nadler, Jerry Nadler of New York as Chairmain of the Judiciary Committee, they will start with subpoenas on day one, they will move to impeach this president with no grounds whatsoever, and they think they are doing it for the right of the country. They will destroy the country by doing that,” Lewandowski concluded.
Appearing earlier Monday on Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily in a separate interview, former Trump campaign communications director Jason Miller agreed with Lewandowski’s analysis that the Democrats are seeing declining support because they lack a message other than “hate Trump.”

“This is the inherent problem for Democrats going into this fall,” Miller told host Boyle.
“Are they going to run on a platform of paycheck decreases? Are they going to run on a platform of more regulation? Are they going to run on a platform of a weaker military?” Miller asked rhetorically.
“As you go all the way across the board, the Democrats don’t have any platform other than ‘We don’t want to do things the way Trump is doing things,’ ” Miller noted.
The problem with that, he continued, is “people are back to work . . . this economy is moving . . . and we’re in a strong spot” when it comes to national security.
With six and a half months until the midterm elections, the combination of a strong performance by President Trump and lack of a coherent Democratic message suggests that the “Blue Wave” the far left is hoping for is still far from a certainty.
