A West Virginia woman, arrested for decapitating her boyfriend, allegedly told police that they should drive her back to the crime scene to “get her heads.”

WVNS reported that authorities charged Roena Cheryl Mills, 41, with second-degree murder for allegedly killing and decapitating Bo Allen White, 29.

Police reportedly found Mills covered in blood with a glove on her left hand when they responded to the scene of the crime.

Mills, who used a fake name when identifying herself to the officers, told them she suffered cuts to her body and had been bleeding after falling through a glass door. When she got combative with the deputies, they placed her under arrest. Once deputies placed her inside the police cruiser, she allegedly asked the officers if she could retrieve her “heads.”

“You have to take me back and let me get my heads,” she told the officers as they drove her away from the blood-filled crime scene, authorities said.

Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney George Sitler said the killing was classified as a “decapitation homicide.”

“That’s how it appears,” Sitler told West Virginia MetroNews.

A judge ordered that Mills undergo further assessment to see if she is mentally competent to stand trial. Mills is being held on $210,000 bond at the Southern Regional Jail in Raleigh. Her case is scheduled to go before a grand jury in June.
