Illegal aliens who evaded deportation after Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf (D) warned criminal illegal aliens ahead of a planned federal immigration raid have been re-arrested and charged with crimes such as robbery and domestic violence.
Last month, Schaaf warned illegal aliens in the Bay Area that ICE would be conducting an arrest raid for criminal illegal aliens, as Breitbart News reported. Subsequently, Schaaf helped many criminal illegal aliens with sex crime convictions, drunk driving convictions, and armed robbery convictions escape arrest and deportation.
According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan, at least three of the illegal aliens who evaded deportation thanks to Schaaf’s warning have been re-arrested for new crimes. Two of the illegal aliens have already been deported multiple times.
The illegal aliens re-arrested include:
- A Mexican illegal alien who was re-arrested for robbery and multiple weapons violations after being released back into the public in November 2017 in California. Last year, the illegal alien was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime and vandalism. ICE, at the time, asked California to hold the illegal alien so he could be deported. Nonetheless, he was released into the public.
- A Mexican illegal alien who was re-arrested on his third drunk driving charge. The illegal alien was previously convicted on false imprisonment and domestic violence charges. He, too, was released back into the public following arrest in California at the time. ICE confirmed to Fox News’s Adam Shaw that the illegal alien was already deported three times.
- A Mexican illegal alien who was re-arrested for corporal injury of a spouse. ICE confirmed to Fox News that the illegal alien has already been deported twice and was previously convicted on drunk driving, drug possession, and hit-and-run charges.
As Breitbart News reported, Schaaf warned businesses with illegal alien employees of the ICE raid last month, hours before telling the general public.
“Important Alert! Credible information ICE Raids in Oakland Sunday 2/25 and Monday 2/26,” the message from the mayor’s office to a local business group, the Oakland Indie Alliance, reads. “This information comes directly from the Mayor.”
The obtained by CBS San Francisco also reveal that Schaaf was in contact with a local open borders group, Centro Legal de la Raza, which helps illegal aliens get attorneys to avoid deportations. The emails between the group and Schaaf show that they were in touch before her announcement, speaking specifically about what employers can do during a raid by ICE.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions told Breitbart News exclusively that his Department of Justice (DOJ) is working with ICE officials and attorneys to consider prosecuting Schaaf for obstruction of justice.
As Breitbart News reported, a plurality of Americans — nearly half — say Sessions should prosecute the Oakland mayor for obstruction of justice by aiding criminal illegal aliens in escaping deportation.
