President Donald Trump denied forcibly kissing accuser Rachel Crooks after the Washington Post put her story on the front page of its newspaper.
“A woman I don’t know and, to the best of my knowledge, never met, is on the FRONT PAGE of the Fake News Washington Post saying I kissed her (for two minutes yet) in the lobby of Trump Tower 12 years ago,” Trump said. “Never happened! Who would do this in a public space with live security cameras running?”
Crooks’s story is not new. Her accusations first surfaced during the presidential election when she spoke to the New York Times about her story, she participated in a press conference with Gloria Allred, and she joined a press conference of Trump accusers hosted by the George Soros funded left-wing documentary group Brave New Films.
Now, she is running for office in Ohio for the state legislature.
The Washington Post story repeats her accusations and details some of the hate she has received online and in person since she came forward with her story, putting her photo on the front page of the print edition:
“I just want people to listen. How many women have to come forward?” she tells the Post. “What will it take to get a response?”
Trump dismissed her claims as “another false accusation.”
“Why doesn’t the Washington Post report the story of the women taking money to make up stories about me?” he wrote. “One had her home mortgage paid off. Only Fox News so reported…doesn’t fit the Mainstream Media narrative.”
