President Donald Trump has decided to attend the Gridiron Dinner, a longtime tradition for Washington, DC elites.
The Gridiron Club includes some of the most prestigious journalists in Washington, DC, whose annual dinner features political roasts and public speeches from prominent political guests. It is one of the few dinners in Washington, DC that has a white-tie dress code.
Each series of irreverent political skits features the United States Marine Band and journalists dressing in costume.
Trump skipped the dinner in 2017, sending Vice President Mike Pence instead.
