Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke rallied supporters of Roy Moore at an election eve rally on Monday where he lauded the voters of Alabama as “smart people” who have been “skewered,” “called names,” and “disparaged” in the liberal media.

Of U.S. Senate candidate Moore and his family, Clarke said, “They’re battle-tested and they’re ready to go to Washington, DC.”

The Sheriff welcomed election eve as the best part of the campaign, the end of focus groups, polls involving likely voters or registered voters, “the only voters I care about are actual voters, the ones who are going to going go to polls tomorrow and put Roy Moore over the top to become the U.S. Senator from the state of Alabama.” He said it all comes down to “turnout, turnout, turnout.”

Clarke talked about when “all the crap started about Roy Moore.” He recalled people in media asking him about Moore and his response, “and I said, you know what, let the good people of Alabama sort it out, they’ll figure it out, they’re smart people.”

He said that they have had “all of America’s eyes” on them for months and have “been skewered in the liberal media … have been called names … been disparaged.” But Clarke said, “I know you better than that.”

“For the short period I’ve been in this state you’ve taken me in, you’ve made me an adopted son of Alabama,” said Clarke.

On why this is important, Clarke said, “this is about the survival of this republic.” He talked about the momentum from last November’s election of Donald Trump for president, then urged the crowd, “we have to keep this momentum going.”

Clarke gave the crowd at least eight reasons that they need to get out and vote on Tuesday to elect Roy Moore to the U.S. Senate and after each said, “…then you must turn out tomorrow and vote for Roy Moore”:

If you want to see Obamacare in its proper burial, then…

If you want tax reform … and you want to see jobs created again the way President Trump has created jobs or at least provided the catalyst to do it since he took office, then…

If you want to see an end to illegal immigration, where illegal aliens trespass into our country, putting a strain on local resources that you have to pay for, then…

If you want to see a wall, not a fence, a wall built along our southern border … [the crowd broke in with chants of “build that wall”]. If you want to see that wall go up to stop violent gangs, illegal drugs, and weapons from coming across our border, then…

If you’re like me and you’re tired of our Constitution being trampled on and the rule of law ignored, then…

If like me, you believe that blue lives matter in America, and you support law enforcement in your community, then…

If you want law and order to return to your communities, then… [the crowd joined in unison, saying, “Roy Moore”]

Finally, if you support President Trump’s vision of making America great again and putting America first and you want to help President Trump drain the swamp…

…then you must turn out tomorrow to vote for Roy Moore [the crowd joined in, saying, “Roy Moore”] to be the next Senator from the state of Alabama.

He asked one question of the crowd, “can I count on you?” and was met with resounding “yes” from the crowd.” When he re-emphasized the question, “I mean really, can I count on you?” the crowd came back event louder with their answer of “Yes!”
