President Donald Trump continued to mock Jeff Flake on Twitter, after the Arizona Senator criticized him in a “hot mic” moment on ABC News.

“Sen. Jeff Flake(y), who is unelectable in the Great State of Arizona (quit race, anemic polls) was caught (purposely) on ‘mike’ saying bad things about your favorite President,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Flake’s remarks were captured by a local station after a tax-reform town hall in Arizona.

“If we become the party of Roy Moore and Donald Trump, we are toast,” Flake said to a friend.

But Trump said that Flake’s career was “toast” and predicted that he would vote against tax cuts.

“He’ll be a NO on tax cuts because his political career anyway is ‘toast,’” Trump wrote.

Flake responded that he had said the same things in public, to “anyone who would listen.”
