Michael Malice, author of Dear Reader: The Unauthorized Autobiography of Kim Jong Il joined Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam to discuss the continuing threat of North Korea and the isolated nation’s unique culture.

“In the states when you go to school, you’re going to have a world atlas somewhere,” said Malice. “There, it’s maps of Korea, so it’s only Korea that matters.”

“It’s a very subtle and consistent message,” he continued. “The rest of the world effectively doesn’t exist. In fact, when you read the propaganda as I did to put my book together, it’ll say things like, … other countries, other leaders, other people aren’t mentioned by name.”

Malice says a decades-long process has essentially turned the country into a prison thanks to the work of the Kims.

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
