American Airlines Flight Attendant Accused of Filming Men and Boys in Public Restroom

PHOENIX - A Phoenix-based American Airlines flight attendant has been charged with taking

An American Airlines flight attendant is accused of filming men and boys using a public restroom in Arizona.

Gordon Harold Nobriga, 50, was arrested after officials with the Department of Homeland Security allegedly found the footage on his cell phone, the Daily Mail reported.

Special agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations say they found the videos as Nobriga attempted to leave the country through El Paso, Texas.

Investigators say the videos appear as if they were filmed through a “peep hole” in a bathroom stall.

Nobriga reportedly told investigators that the videos were shot in a store but declined to name the store, KNXV reported.

Homeland Security officials later determined that the videos were filmed at a Walmart location in Phoenix, where surveillance footage captured Nobriga entering a restroom several times over two months. Officials say he also spent hours in the restroom each time he entered.

Investigators identified two victims, including a 14-year-old boy, and are still working to identify the remaining victims.

Officials arrested Nobriga on May 25 after he got off a flight at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. He is charged with 11 counts of voyeurism.

Nobriga, who worked for American Airlines for 16 years, allegedly confessed to taking the videos but did not admit to distributing them.

A spokesperson for American Airlines said that Nobriga remains an employee while they investigate the claims.

“We take this matter very seriously, and have been cooperating with law enforcement throughout their investigation,” the spokesperson said.
