An elderly woman was shot and killed inside a grocery store in Philadelphia on Christmas Eve.
Police say the gunman shot the elderly woman multiple times inside Marie’s Grocery Store at South 6th and Wharton Streets shortly before 9:00 a.m., CBS Philadelphia reported.
She was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly after 9:00 a.m. Saturday, the Allentown Morning Call reported.
Her brother-in-law identified her as 81-year-old Marie Buck, the owner of the store.
Police say the man was dressed in all black and wearing a hood.
No arrests have been made yet and homicide detectives are investigating.
