President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump will meet with former Vice President Al Gore to discuss climate issues.
Ivanka is an adviser to her father’s transition team, along with her brothers Don Jr. and Eric. The sit-down will happen in Trump Tower.
“The former Vice President will not be meeting with the President-elect,” Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller told reporters Monday morning.
Trump plans to hold meetings on Monday with attorney Debra Wong Yang, Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) and Catherine Templeton, who may run for Governor of South Carolina in 2018.
The President-elect plans to meet on Tuesday with the CEO of Exxon Mobile Rex Tillerson, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad and Laura Ingraham.
Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller told reporters on Monday morning that more nominations to Trump’s cabinet will likely occur this week.
