SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The bus carrying the traveling press corps following Donald Trump’s campaign around the country side-swiped a blue Chevy Impala at the corner of 5th Street and Floyd Boulevard as it attempted to follow Trump’s motorcade to the airport.

There was minor damage to the vehicle, and no injuries.

The bus hit the car as it attempted to take a sharp left turn as it pulled out of the Sioux City Convention Center.

Details were exchanged, and the bus resumed its trip to the airport.

Locals had booed journalists during the rally, as Trump made his usual crack about the “dishonest” media.

The accident probably did not help improve relations.

Inside, the Republican nominee told some 4,300 supporters that their state was a key to victory.

“In two days — can you believe this? — and we are going to win back the White House,” he said, to cheers.

“And I want to thank the people of Iowa, so much. You have opened your hearts to me.”
