A poll of New Hampshire shows that Donald Trump is leading by one point in the state against his opponent, Hillary Clinton. That is a stunning result, as just a month earlier, Clinton was leading in the same poll by seven points.
The WBUR poll, taken October 29-November 1, was conducted right after the news broke about the renewed FBI investigation into Clinton’s email server.
Republicans across the board appear to be enjoying a lead. Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte is now leading her Democratic challenger by six points, and the Republican candidate for governor, Chris Sununu, leads his opponent by five points.
The poll surveyed 500 likely voters from October 29-November 1, and has a 4.4 percent margin of error.
