Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is previewing her approach to the upcoming presidential debate with Donald Trump.
Clinton calls presidential debates a “contact sport,” and adds, “I can take that kind of stuff. I have been at this, I understand it’s a contact sport. I am not going to take what he says about everybody else.” Clinton’s remarks came during an interview on the Steve Harvey Show on Tuesday.
Clinton said she was eager to respond to Trump’s rhetoric, and was willing to take the rhetorical blows he directed at her
“I am going to do my very best to communicate as clearly and fearlessly as I can in the face of the insults and the attacks and the bullying and the bigotry that we have seen coming from my opponent,” she said.
