Tuesday on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” while discussing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump saying his opponent Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton doesn’t look presidential, Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus said the comment was “pure gender” bias.
Marcus said, “What else could he possibly mean? He said she doesn’t have a presidential look and then he flipped it around and said a couple times she just doesn’t look presidential. Well, we know, we know at least —what he means.”
She added, “She doesn’t look like the other guys who have come along.”
When asked if it was “pure gender bias,” Marcus agreed saying, “I think it’s just clear — I just think it’s pure gender.”
