It has now been 268 days since Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton held a press conference.
The next event on her public schedule is not until August 31, when she is slated to give a speech to the American Legion National Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. The next event on her public schedule isn’t until September 7.
Today the Trump campaign released their “question of the day” for Hiding Hillary.
“Secretary Clinton, the other day your campaign said that voters who are concerned about the ethics surrounding the Clinton Foundation should not vote for you. Do you agree?” asked Jason Miller, Senior Communications Advisor.
The question is in reference to comments Clinton campaign press secretary Brian Fallon made last week defending the charity work of the Clinton Cash Foundation.
After announcing that the Clinton Foundation would stop accepting donations if Hillary wins — hurry up and buy your influence now; this deal won’t last — Fallon tried to walk it back by saying the important work of the Clinton Foundation must continue.
Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway also noted the lack of press outrage over #HidingHillary.
Even self-identified progressives are welcome to get in on the #HidingHillary action and have their tweets included in the next #HidingHillary article by tweeting @DustinStockton and trying to use the hashtag #HidingHillary.
One Twitter user tweeted tweeted that answering scripted questions with comedians isn’t the same thing as taking unscripted questions from the press.
Another said how silly it is for #HidingHillary’s surrogates to declare the race over.
