The LA Times daily tracking poll shows the race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump too close to call.
Clinton is at 44 percent while Trump is at 43.4 percent as of Aug. 18. The results are based on 2,500 respondents.
Trump has made up ground as he was roughly five points behind Clinton as of Aug. 14, 46.3 percent to 41.6 percent.
The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times “Daybreak” poll regularly tracks 3,000 voters through election day, Nov. 8, and updates the data every day “based on the weighted average of poll responses over the previous week.”
