Defeat Crooked Hillary PAC: Clinton Told Congress a ‘Flat-out, Bald-faced Lie’

David Bossie, president of the Defeat Crooked Hillary PAC, supports Republicans in Congress pursuing perjury charges against Hillary Clinton for her alleged lies about her personal, non-secure email server during her testimony before Congress while under oath.

“Hillary Clinton’s sworn testimony to Congress was a flat-out, bald-faced lie. Before the American people and before Congress, Clinton claimed there was nothing marked classified on her emails either sent or received. Thanks to the investigation by FBI Director James Comey, we now know that is 100% false,” Bossie blasted on Tuesday.

He continued:

Republicans in Congress are right to call for this investigation because for far too long, the Clintons have played by a different set of rules than everyone else, and it’s time for her to face justice. Lying to Congress is a felony and if anyone besides Clinton committed the same crime, they would be prosecuted.

Hillary Clinton is in clear violation of the law and should be held accountable. The Department of Justice is playing politics by protecting not only Mrs. Clinton but her foundation as well. A prosecution that should take minutes not months may not ever happen at all. The American people deserve better than this.

Bossie’s comments come after House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-GA) and Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, wrote a letter on Monday to the Department of Justice detailing Clinton’s conflicting testimony to Congress about her use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state compared to the revelations from the FBI’s investigation.
