Republican nominee Donald Trump responded to President Bill Clinton’s speech about his wife, the 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, where he told the story of how they met and fell in love.
“He left out the most interesting chapter,” Trump said of Bill Clinton’s speech, potentially referencing his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. “I won’t get into that.”
“The chapter that I waited for I never heard,” he added. “I’d love to see a woman become president…but I think it would be bad for women if it were Hillary Clinton.”
“So, it’s been 235 days since cooked Hillary Clinton has had a press conference,” Trump told the media.
“I put myself through your news conferences often, not that it’s fun,” he added. “You ought to check it out because there’s a lot going on.”
He said, “She’s been a mess. You look at what happened with ISIS, which hasn’t even been mentioned. You look at what’s happened with law and order.”
The billionaire also criticized the Democratic National Convention for reportedly not having American flags present at the convention.
