Trump Heckles Disgraced DNC Chair: 'Reince Priebus Is The Tough One And The Smart One'

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump mocked disgraced DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz after she issued a statement announcing she will resign after the Democratic National Convention takes place.

“Today proves what I have always known, that Reince Priebus is the tough one and the smart one, not Debbie Wasserman Shultz [sic],” he tweeted minutes after Wasserman-Schultz said she would resign.

The embarrassing trove of DNC email published by Wikileaks revealed that under Wasserman-Schultz’s term, the DNC tried to rig the primary contests for Hillary Clinton against independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
