A federal grand jury indicted the British man who allegedly tried to seize a law enforcement officer’s gun at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Michael Steve Sandford was indicted on Wednesday on three felony charges, “two counts of illegal alien in possession of a fire arm,” and “one count of impending and disrupting the orderly conduct of government business and official functions,” according to a press release shared on Twitter.
The 20-year-old, who was in the United States illegally according to the press release, is facing up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count.
His next hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday, July 6th.
